CDC 3000 Bedbug Trap

The CDC 3000 or the Cimex Detection Case 3000 manufactured by Cimex Science. Use as a follow up tool or an early warning monitor, the CDC 3000 works by mimicking the human body by emitting CO2, heat, and something that smells like body odor. Trapping bedbugs is in the here and now. This trap works within three hours, luring bedbugs out of hiding and catching them. You can bug the CDC 3000 bedbug trap for around five hundred dollars. Happy Hunting.

Exciting new bedbug trap that works

Bio Sensory has come out with a product we've all been waiting for called the NightWatch. This innovative bedbug trap integrated a 7-part kairomone lure with CO2 and Heat to attract a catch bedbugs. During field tests the NightWatch caught one thousand bedbugs. This is going to be the break we are looking for in my opinion. You won't be able to pick one of these up at your local home center, but look for the NightWatch on DIY pest control products websites or ask your professional.

Kill bedbugs with heat

Therma Pure is a company that uses heat to kill bedbugs, which is a great way to treat for bedbugs when clutter is an issue, or just when you want to be sure the bugs are gone. Of course heat treatments like this can be expensive, but this is just an unfortunate reality of bedbugs and their treatment. There are other companies that offer the same service, but the idea is the same. Think of it along the lines of fumigation without the poisons. It's a kind of a green treatment if you will. The science is behind heat treatment for bedbugs and it is a tool that I think will catch on, especially in cluttered apartments or dorm rooms, as it makes it easier to treat these areas without too much preparation.

Bed Bug Luggage Spray

JT Eatons has done it again. They came out with a spray called Bed Bug Luggage Spray that basically acts as a measure to avoid bringing bedbugs home with you from a trip. If you are a business man or maybe vacation often, this product might be something to look into. It can be found on most DIY Websites like The Pest Depot or possibly from your neighborhood home center. Not too expensive for some piece of mind.

Bedlam bedbug spray-review from the seminar

This past Tuesday I attended a seminar where 2 of the leading experts in the bedbug field presented the latest information. Dr. Potter and Rick Cooper. One thing they went over was what products worked and what products did not work, and one product that got some good comments was Bedlam. They agreed that Bedlam bedbug spray worked on killing the eggs as well as the adults which is the most important thing when trying to break a life cycle. I've seen Bedlam for sale on do it yourself bedbug control product websites as well as over the counter pest control supply stores. This should be used as the label states, the label is the law.

The best bedbug control products

There are a boat load of bedbug control products on the market these days from DIY products to professional pest control products. Where can you buy these products? Most you can get online at directly from the manufacturer and others like the professional products can be bought from online Professional pest control products website that sell to the Do it yourself er. It is hard to say which product is better than the other, at this point all you can do is experiment yourself or hire a professional, who might not get it right the first time either. Research is your best key and trial and error. Good luck and happy hunting.

Mattress Covers for Bedbugs

Mattress Covers are one of the best ways to battle bedbugs at the source. The mattress cover will prevent bedbugs from entering the cracks and crevices on the mattress or the box spring where they hide and multiply, and the mattress cover will also trap any bedbugs that are already on the mattress or box spring. These covers allow the homeowner a option other than throwing away their beds. It is much less expensive to buy a mattress cover on a website than it is to toss your bed. Be sure that when you order your mattress covers to get the right size and to buy one for the mattress and one for the box spring. It must zipper and be specific to bed bugs or dust mites. These can be bought on any mattress cover website. Good luck and we will prevail.

Best Yet...bed bug control? You bet.

Is there finally a product that will be effective in the control of bed bugs? According to Cedarcide industries, the makers of a product called Best Yet, they have found the diamond in the rough when it comes to bed bug control. Bed bugs are extremely tough to get rid of. Up until now treating for bedbugs have been hit or miss at best, with many bed bugs showing resistance to the products on the market today. This product is made out of the cedar oil of the Texas Red Cedar and a carrier created from liquid quartz. Best Yet sounds like it can be a useful tool in the control of bed bugs, among other insects. As more information comes across my desk I will be sure to report on it. Best Yet bed bug control could be the panacea we are all looking for. It's worth a try. Good luck and God speed.

Eaton's Bed Bug killer spray

So you are looking for a spray that can kill bed bugs?
Eaton's Bed Bug Killer is a quart sized ready to use spray used mostly as a follow up to a bed bug treatment to kill any re-emerging bed bugs. It is an oil based contact killer so there is no residual and because it is oil based you have to be careful where you spray it. It seems to be getting good review on the web. One of the few products out there specifically for the little buggers. Eaton Kills Bed Bugs is a product I would use carefully.

Bedlam bed bug spray is a contact killer as well as a product that leaves a residual. It is labeled for bedding and has a label for other blood suckers as well. Bedlam can be used on fabric and other areas for the control of bed bugs. As always read the label before use. Incorporating this product in a thorough bed bug control program would improve the elimination of the bed bugs.

Reviewing products like Diatect, Thwart, and Tallman BedBug Products.

It's hard to give a review of bed bug control products because even in the world of professional pest control there is no sure fire way to get rid of bed bugs. Pest control companies are struggling with products and techniques to get rid of bed bugs because this problem is a relatively new one in the world of modern pest control. When you look at products like Diatct, Tallman, Thwart, Eaton's Bed Bug, and Bedlam, among others, it is easy to get confused and turned around. Which ones work? Unfortunately, it is hard to say. Each bed bug problem is unique to it's specific situation and the severity of the infestation itself. All the products probably have some good qualities in theory, but just as in professional pest control, you may have to use a combination along with other mechanical means to get rid of these unwanted guests. Being aware that these products are even on the market is half the battle. Now doing your homework and doing the work is how to proceed from here. Visit the products websites and do your homework. Good Luck.

Phantom Bed Bug Review

Phantom to the rescue? I think so, but be sure to follow the label directions as this is a professional product. Another fine product for bedbug control as well as roaches and ants is a product called Phantom. It is a non-repellent chemical that the insect walks over unknowingly and tracks it back to the nest which kills off the insects in a domino effect manner. It is now labelled for bed bugs. You have to check your state to be sure it is labelled in it. Definitely a fantastic product.

Best Yet Bed bug control.

There is a product that is claiming some pretty amazing stuff. Best Yet Bed Bug Control from Cedar Cide Industries is claiming to be the best bed bug control product and the safest on the market. The website for the company is amazing and if all they are claiming is true, then this product could very well be a definite tool for the toolbox.

Bed bug control with Suspend and Kicker!

Looking for a good combo to tackle the bed bugs the professional way? The battle and struggle for any kind of effective control has been going on since bedbugs have been reintroduced into our society some years back. Pest control operators and entomologists alike have been scratching their heads trying to come up with a real solution to the bedbug epidemic that has been plaguing us for a while now. I have been hearing through the grape vine that combining suspend sc and kicker, both Bayer products, has been getting some really good results. Both of these products can be used on the mattress in areas where the bedbugs hide like the tufts and the buttons, etc. So at least that is some good news in the battle of the bug. These products might have to be found of a DIY pest control products website and must be used with extreme care. It's best if left to a professional.

Thwart Bed Bug Treatment

Here's a product that has a rock solid money back guarantee and if it works as good as they advertise it does then I would have to recommend it. I haven't heard too much good or bad about it a this point so I can't really give it a yeah or nay. It supposed to kill bed bugs within 7 seconds and repel bedbugs. You are allowed to spray this on beds and upholstery. So safe you can sleep on your bed that night is what they claim. I guess it is worth a shot and if you have tried this bed bug control product and it worked or did not please feel free to put your thoughts in my comment section.

Bed bug story

I would be interested in hearing your bed bug story...leave your story in the comment section and tell the world! It healthy to vent.

Diatect Bed Bug Killer

This is another product that claims to kill bedbugs and it looks like this can be an effective tool in your arsenal. The MSDS sheet indicated that is is a combo of Pyrethrins and Diatomaceous Earth which is known to cut into the cuticle of the insect. The product makes claims that it can be used on mattresses and if the directions are followed I would say it could help reduce populations for sure. I would recommend visiting Diatect Internationale's website to read up on this product for yourself. In my opinion...a definite tool to have.

Steri-Fab Bed Bug Spray

Sterifab is one of the most versatile products on the market for a variety of insects including public enemy number one. The bed bug. Steri-fab is labeled for application on beds and upholstery for bedbugs. It dries in twenty minutes and can leaves no residue. The pros and cons of this product are the following: It kills on contact. It leaves no residue after treatment. It can be sprayed on anything except people and animals. The cons are simply it is only a contact killer. So if you are looking for a product that you can use in conjunction with your complete bedbug control solution I would highly recommend Sterifab.

Do it yourself bedbug products

It will be no mystery that I am not a fan of DIY bedbug control products. I am not saying that there are not any products out there that may work, it's just that the detailed involvement of a bedbug treatment would render the money spent to get rid of the bedbugs wasted on the product. Unless you know exactly where to look, how to proceed, and what to so, your product would only give you temporary peace at best, if none at all. Sometimes people attempting to do it themselves winds up making the problem worse by spreading the bedbugs to other rooms or deeper into hiding. There may be instances where people are just looking for a quick kill for what they see and I guess for this purpose some of these products can be useful. So clearly there is a place for these products if used as a tool and not as a means of elimination or a cheap way out. Having said all that I will present to you all the products that are on the market today and what my opinions are on them so you can make your own decision on whether to try it on your own or to hire a professional.

My Bedbug Prolog...

As anyone accessing this blog knows, bedbugs have become an epidemic of enormous proportions. People who experience a bedbug problem come from all walks of life and can contract the problem from a five star hotel to a homeless shelter. People call pest control operators, they scour the Internet, they try over the counter products to control the bedbugs to no avail. It is a problem that is come back to haunt us from the past, a problem that will get worse before it gets better, and a problem we can beat, if we as humans put our heads together to come up with a solution. We can live in space, make organs in Petra dishes, and assemble robots, we will eventually come up with a solution. Until then...this website will offer in site and dialog about the products we now have on the market, techniques that may or may not work, and make you aware of new products that are brought to market. Together we can beat this. We will do so with knowledge!
